Originally from Condobolin in Central New South Wales, Judith has
enjoyed the peace and quiet of Invergowrie life with her husband Julian
for the last eight years.
She has
loved art and music from a very early age, in 1991 realising her dream
of becoming a Teacher with a Major in Art. In June this year, together
with her sister Trish Little from Lake Cargelligo in Central New South
Wales, the two sisters published their first children’s book “ Louie the
Lizard Meets His First Real Friend”. The first in a series of five, “
Louie” is a culmination of three years hard but fun work. The second
book in the series “ Sammy the Snake Gets Swept Away” is ready to print.
The third in the series is written and awaiting illustrations from
Judith.
Judith’s
art works feature a variety of subjects including bush scenes, murals,
animals and fantasy. Her preferred mediums are watercolours, ink and
coloured pencil.
She
enjoys playing and singing music and for some time now has been a part
of the singing duo “ Ocajunally Music”. The two have performed at family
gatherings, square dance parties, Australia Day functions and the odd
spot at the Guyra Lamb and Potato Festival.
Judith
continues to seek inspiration from the beautiful Invergowrie landscape
and has no intention of ever moving from such a wonderful place.
Her backyard is a free haven for all types of local wildlife.
